Product Details

The SARS-CoV-2 N1+N2 Assay Kit is compatible with the QIAprep&amp Viral RNA UM Kit.

Principle

The SARS-CoV-2 N1+N2 Assay is a mixture of four primers and two probes purified by HPLC at a 20x concentration. Therefore, only 1 µl of the assay is needed per 20 µl reaction.

The four primers are based on the CDC design, targeting the regions N1 and N2 of the viral genome. The two probes are coupled with FAM as a reporter dye and use ZEN™ quenchers for enhanced sensitivity (see table).

The SARS-CoV-2 N1+N2 Assay Kit does not include positive control.

Please ensure to follow the reaction setup and cycling condition provided by the suppliers of your RT-PCR chemistries and PCR cyclers to achieve the best performance.
