PhD Dr. Ana Krivokuca, Department of Genetic Counseling for Hereditary Cancer, Head, Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia
Dr. Ana Krivokuca is the founder and Head of the Department for Genetic Counseling at the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia. An experienced clinical laboratory geneticist, Dr. Krivokuca specializes in the interpretation of genomic data, variant annotation, and genetic counseling. Currently, her research focuses on genetics and molecular biomarkers in breast and ovarian cancers. She completed her PhD in Genetics at the University of Belgrade and her Master’s in Bioethics at Clarkson University and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. To date, Dr. Krivokuca has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers and leads numerous research grants.
