Using the EasyXpress Site-Specific Biotion Kit, up to 5 nmol biotin-labeled protein per ml reaction volume (5 µM; 250 µg/ml for a 50 kDa protein) can be synthesized within 30 minute. The synthesis can be easily scaled up and down. The amount of protein synthesized increases linearly with increased reaction volumes.
