How much cDNA is sufficient for real-time PCR detection of miRNA transcripts generated with the miScript System?

For detecting miRNA generated by the miScript System, 0.5 ng–1 ng cDNA per PCR is sufficient. Therefore cDNA made with 1 µg input RNA is usually adequate to perform miRNA profiling using all available miRNA miScript Primer Assays.

For mRNA detection, 5–10 ng cDNA is recommended.
