Patricia Geesing is a postdoctoral researcher within the Microbial Evolution group studying Asgard archaea to illuminate the prokaryote-to-eukaryote transition. Her research is centered around these yet uncultivated archaeawith other microorganisms as well as their environment. She combines cultivation-based work with molecular biologytechniques and bioinformatics.
