What is the VPF (Volume Precision Factor)?

The QIAcuity Digital PCR System is designed to deliver precise and multiplexed quantification results for mutation detection, copy number variation (CNV), gene expression studies, gene-editing analysis, and many more. This nanoplate-based system seamlessly integrates a standard dPCR workflow of partitioning, thermocycling and imaging into a walk-away automated platform with minimal hands-on time. The QIAcuity Nanoplates are microfluidic digital PCR plates that enable running 8, 24 or 96 samples with up to 8500 or 26,000 partitions per well. All four nanoplates are designed to run on the QIAcuity digital PCR instruments. The nanoplates can only be used with the QIAcuity Digital PCR System. Use the dedicated QIAcuity Nanoplate Adapter when performing automated liquid handling and PCR setup in a QIAcuity Nanoplate using the QIAgility. The QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit contains a 4x concentrated, ready to use Master Mix optimized for microfluidic use in the QIAcuity Nanoplates. The kit enhances the specificity and efficiency of probe-based digital PCR to provide accurate, singleplex, or up to 5-plex analysis. The QIAcuity Probe Master Mix is optimized to increase specificity for accurate quantification of gDNA or cDNA on the QIAcuity dPCR instruments.
