Roland Sackers has served as Chief Financial Officer of QIAGEN since 2004 and as a member of the Managing Board since 2006. He joined QIAGEN in 1999 as Vice President Finance. Before QIAGEN, he was an auditor at Arthur Andersen Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft from 1995 to 1999. Since 2019, Mr. Sackers has served on the Supervisory Board of Evotec SE, where he became Chair of the Audit Committee in 2019 and Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board in 2021. He is also Chair of the Board of the German industry association BIO Deutschland. He holds a Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Münster.
