Antonio Santos has served as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Operations and member of QIAGEN's Executive Committee since April 2022. He has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing diagnostics and medical devices. Before QIAGEN, he served as Senior Vice President, Americas Operations & Global Third Party Products at bioMérieux, where he oversaw manufacturing and supply operations in the Americas. He previously held operations leadership roles at Reliable Biopharmaceutical in the United States and Hovione Pharmasciencia in Portugal, China and the United States. After studying chemical engineering at the Nova University of Lisbon, School of Science and Technology, he earned an MBA from Rutgers University.
