We’re committed to reducing reliance on plastics in production, transport, and packaging while maintaining product quality. We’ve adopted a "reduce – reuse – recycle" strategy to minimize the negative environmental impact of plastics we use.
Minimizing our carbon footprint
Our commitment
We recognize climate change as a significant challenge and are committed to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has validated our near- term emission reduction target of a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, and a 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions from business travel, use of sold products, and end-of-life treatment of sold products within the same timeframe.
We also aim to reach net-zero across Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050 from a 2020 base year. As part of this net-zero target, we aim to achieve a 90% absolute reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2050.

Climate risk management
We have dedicated working groups and committees to manage climate-related risks and opportunities, integrating climate considerations into existing risk management structures.
Sustainable energy
The measures we are taking to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions include implementing energy-efficient technologies and transitioning to renewable energy sourced through green tariffs, PPAs and/or renewable energy certificates, as applicable.
Optimizing Scope 3 emissions
Our Scope 3 emissions management involves enhancing data models, conducting circular economy assessments, running scenario analyses to guide decarbonization and collaborating with suppliers to identify low-carbon materials and recycling solutions.

ISO 14001 Certifications achieved

ISO 50001 Certification achieved
We are proud to announce that our largest global manufacturing site, located in Hilden, Germany, has achieved ISO 50001 certification—a globally recognized standard for energy management. This significant milestone reflects our continued commitment to reducing energy consumption, improving efficiency and minimizing environmental impact, all in support of our broader sustainability goals.
