Pictograms

A GHS pictogram is a standardized hazard symbol established under the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). It is utilized internationally to communicate chemical hazards in a clear and consistent manner.

Each pictogram consists of a diamond-shaped icon featuring a red border, a white background, and a black symbol that denotes specific risks such as flammability, toxicity, corrosivity, or environmental hazards. These pictograms are displayed on chemical product labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and workplace signage to promote the safe handling, storage and transportation of hazardous substances.
