Is it possible to generate a "master standard curve" by averaging multiple standard curves?
FAQ ID -1502

No. Yet, a standard curve generated in a previous run may be imported on the LightCycler® and the Rotor-Gene® instruments which renders it unnecessary to include all quantitation standards (QS) in each experiment. In this case, however, one QS (or multiple replicates of the same concentrated QS) has to be included in the current run as a "calibrator" to prove the validity of the imported standard curve. Please note, however, that the import of a standard curve leads to less accurate quantitation results. The software versions for the ABI PRISM® instruments do not offer the option of a standard curve import.
