QIAseq xHYB Pro Capture Kits transform hybrid capture from an overnight process into a streamlined, single-day workflow for targeted sequencing applications including comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP), exome, and custom panels.
Its pre-dried, pre-dispensed hybridization chemistry eliminates dry-down and SpeedVac concentration steps while enabling hybridization in as little as 5 minutes, reducing hands-on time and increasing laboratory throughput. Compatible with indexed DNA- and RNA-derived libraries, QIAseq xHYB Pro integrates seamlessly with the QIAseq ecosystem to deliver an automation-ready sample-to-sequencer workflow for modern genomics laboratories.
QIAseq xHYB Pro Capture Kits leverage hybrid capture technology to selectively enrich genomic regions of interest from indexed DNA- and RNA-derived libraries. Biotinylated double-stranded DNA probes hybridize to target sequences, while blocking oligos suppress nonspecific interactions and improve capture efficiency.
Unlike conventional hybrid capture workflows that require lengthy incubations and extensive reagent preparation, QIAseq xHYB Pro Kits combine optimized hybridization chemistry with a pre-dispensed reagent format to simplify setup and dramatically shorten hybridization times. Following hybridization, captured targets are isolated using streptavidin-coated magnetic beads, washed to remove non-target fragments, and amplified for downstream sequencing.
This streamlined approach enables rapid, high-throughput target enrichment while reducing workflow complexity and supporting automation-ready implementation.
The QIAseq xHYB Pro workflow is designed to minimize manual intervention and accelerate target enrichment. Indexed DNA- or RNA-derived libraries are pooled and combined with QIAseq xHYB probe panels and the xHYB Pro Hybridization Reagent. Hybridization can be completed in as little as 5 minutes, eliminating one of the largest bottlenecks in traditional target enrichment workflows.
Following hybridization, target-probe complexes are captured using streptavidin magnetic beads, washed to remove non-target fragments, and amplified to generate sequencing-ready libraries. The simplified workflow eliminates dry-down steps, reduces hands-on time, and enables a streamlined path from library preparation to sequencing within a single working day.
