Joined QIAGEN in 1999 as Vice President Finance and has been Chief Financial Officer since 2004. In 2006, Mr. Sackers became a member of the Managing Board. Between 1995 and 1999, he served as an auditor with Arthur Andersen Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft. Mr. Sackers earned his Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Münster, Germany. He is a board member of the industry association BIO Deutschland. Mr. Sackers was appointed Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of Evotec SE in 2021 and has been a member of the Supervisory Board and chair of the Audit Committee since 2019.
