What information do I need to provide when I contact the Technical Phone Support?
When contacting QIAGEN Technical Services regarding your instrument’s performance, it is highly recommended to have the following information ready:
- Instrument serial number
- Sample type you use
- Error code (if applicable)
- Copy of log files
- Information about your service agreement or warrant.
How do I register my instrument in my My QIAGEN account?
We highly recommend you register your instrument in your My QIAGEN account for full access to your account and information about your instrument. If you don’t already have an account, visit My QIAGEN and register as a new user. You can then register your instrument by following the prompts. After registration, you will have 24/7 access to your account, orders, instrument information and more. You can also download product documentation, software updates and relevant content.
How do I check if my QIAGEN instrument still has service coverage?

Will a service technician call me to confirm a service visit?
Yes, before every service visit, the technician assigned to your case will call you to confirm the service appointment.
Will I get a loaner if my instrument is sent to your repair center?
Loaner equipment is offered under certain service agreements and for select instruments. Loaner equipment is subject to availability.
Is it possible to request a loaner if I am not under a service agreement with QIAGEN?
Yes, a loaner instrument can be requested for an additional fee. However, loaners are not available for all instruments.
