The Young Investigator Awards supports young forensic scientists by recognizing and promoting their outstanding scientific work using NGS. How to submit your story

Eligibility and evaluation
No project is too big or small! We invite contributions from anyone who’s been working in the field of human identification and forensics for less than 10 years and is currently affiliated with an institution or university. Most importantly, we want you to share the goal of making a positive impact on our community.
Rewards and benefits
Upon acceptance, we will publish your story on the QIAGEN Biomarker Insights blog. Your work will receive broad recognition through promotion on our social media channels. You’ll also be invited to our LinkedIn Young Investigator Community where you can network with your peers. Plus, we’ll offer you an invitation to one of our next Investigator Forums, as opportunities arise.
Submit your story
Please download and fill out the application form. We encourage you to submit photos of yourself, your lab and any other images that will help tell your story in addition to your written submission. All completed forms, along with your pictures, should be emailed to Young.Investigator@qiagen.com. Please mention your full name followed by 'Investigator blog application' in the subject line of the email.

QIAGEN’s Young Investigator Community is a closed group for forensic scientists who are working towards a PhD/MSc in a forensics or HID discipline or have received their PhD/MSc within the last five years. We offer practical support for your studies: frequent learning opportunities from webinars, chat group discussions, networking with peers, access to insights, QIAGEN R&D and product management, early awareness of new products and activities from QIAGEN, as well as the chance to win travel bursaries to attend scientific meetings.
