May I continue with the saliva collection if I accidentally unscrewed the funnel prematurely?
If the stabilizing reagent leaked into the collection tube before saliva collection was completed, the fill line does not indicate the correct volume of saliva anymore.
We therefore recommend in this case to repeat saliva collection with a new device.
