• Up to 17.1 µl can be added to the reaction, provided that the water volume is adjusted accordingly. Note that greater volumes of input DNA may allow potential PCR inhibitors to affect the PCR.
• The optimal DNA input range is 200–500 pg, although reliable results can be obtained with <100 pg. If using higher amounts of input DNA, consider adjusting the number of PCR cycles.
