Product Details

Ni-NTA Strips (Ni-NTA assay strips) are 8-well strips whose wells are coated with Ni-NTA. Ni-NTA HisSorb Plates (Ni-NTA assay plates) are 96-well plates whose wells are coated with Ni-NTA. They are used for immobilization of His-tagged proteins in protein interaction assays, such as ELISA.

Principle

Ni-NTA HisSorb Strips and Plates provide the power of the QIAexpress Ni-NTA System in solid-phase 8-well or 96-well format for convenient assay and screening of His-tagged biomolecules, even if crude lysates. Ni-NTA moieties, which coat the entire surface of each well, deliver effective, directed immobilization of functionally active 6xHis-tagged molecules, leading to more reliable and reproducible assay results and higher signal-to-noise ratio than are possible with other systems.
