What This Privacy Policy Covers
This policy covers how we handle personal data, including information related to your use of our WebApp. Personal information includes information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not normally available publicly. This policy does not apply to companies that QIAGEN does not own or control.

Information Collection and Usage
General
To use this WebApp, we require you to fill in your email and country of origin as mandatory fields. The email is required as unique identification and to be able to inform you about updates, new features, etc. The country is required since we display product information, for which we require your current country in order to allow for regulatory differences in different countries. We automatically record information in our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, country, and the pages you request. We use this information to analyze our site's usage in order to improve navigation and offer more popular content. We collect personal information when you register with us, when you request information from us (for example a technical service request), when you enter promotions, when you use the “request a quote” function, when you use the “comment” function and when you use our "Send To A Friend" feature on the web.

Information Sharing
QIAGEN does not rent or sell personal information about you to any other company or group. In cases that we outsource tasks to external companies (e.g., data collection for market research purposes), we do not allow these companies to use your contact data for any other purpose than agreed. Except in the very limited circumstances of outsourcing, we do not share any of your personally identifiable information with external companies or groups.

Cookies
We set and access QIAGEN cookies on your computer. These cookies save information about your country  and allow us to see which pages you viewed on our site. We do not store any personal information about you in our cookies.

Changing information and unregistering
By filling in our subscription form, e.g. on the web, you agree that we may use your personal data for marketing and market research. If you have registered online with us you can edit your account information at any time by visiting our "My Account" page. You can also delete your account at any time by using the comment function in the WebApp. As a security measure we may keep your data in our archived records for a short period of time after you unregistered. You may update your personal data or withdraw permission to use your personal data at any time.

E-mail/mail
In every e-mail/mail (e.g., newsletter, promotional offers, etc.) you will receive, we will give you the opportunity to unsubscribe to stop receiving subsequent mails/mails. Any email/mail for direct marketing and for market research will be subject to our Direct Marketing and Market Research Policy.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may need to update this policy. We will do our best to notify you about significant changes by placing a prominent notice on our site. Please also see our general website privacy policy for additional information
