About this webinar

A highly regulated, clonally propagated crop in the United States, citrus is susceptible to many diseases – including Huanglongbing (HLB) or citrus greening, one of the most destructive threats to the citrus industry worldwide. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) provides researchers and commercial growers with disease-free propagation materials, but the need to identify citrus hybrids that exhibit both HLB resistance and multilocational performance has increased germplasm exchanges among citrus-growing regions.

Current regulatory pathogen detection methods are time-consuming, expensive and have many limitations. In this webinar, Dr. Keremane will illustrate how QIAGEN CLC Genomics Workbench streamlines next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis of citrus samples.
