Module I: Sample prep and next-generation sequencing (NGS)

Part 1: Discover how proper collection, stabilization, lysis, homogenization and nucleic acid purification keep the microbiome true to the original environment. Part 2: Learn to interpret microbial diversity and function through NGS, how to minimize GC bias, use cases for 16S and shotgun sequencing and more…

Bonus module: Bioinformatics

Find out everything from microbiome bioinformatic fundamentals to emerging AI approaches. This includes amplicon, metagenomic or pathway analysis, and taxonomic, functional or antimicrobial resistance profiling.

How to earn CPD

Easy. Complete both Module I and Module II in full. Then take the test to assess your learning. The bonus bioinformatics module is optional and is provided for additional learning.

Accessing the test: The test link will be emailed to you only after you have completed both Module I and Module II.

CPD certificate availability: Once you have completed both required modules and the required test, your certificate will be emailed to you.
