International Finance Trainee Program

Are you a recent graduate looking to develop expertise in modern financial management methods? In our International Finance Trainee Program, you'll rotate through several locations, working on interesting and challenging projects in cross-functional environments. You'll collaborate closely with the Finance leadership team. Upon completion of the program, you'll take on a permanent role within our Finance team.

Our 18—24 month international program is designed to fit your personal interests by providing you with the opportunity to select rotations in 3—4 departments within Finance (Corporate Controlling, Business Controlling, Accounting & Tax, Global Treasury) and related functions (Investor Relations, Global Auditing, Digital Business Solutions, Procurement).

You'll gain experience in both day-to-day business and project work, as well as managing your own independent projects. We'll support you with intensive on-the-job training, mentoring by an experienced senior manager, coaching and training opportunities.
  • Individualized rotation plan including international assignments
    • Program duration: 18—24 months
    • Number and lengths of rotations: Based on your individual preferences you  will be able to select up to four rotations in finance and related functions, each rotation lasting 4—6 months
    • Home base: Our European operational headquarters in Hilden, Germany (Greater Dusseldorf area)
    • International rotations: Typically second and/or third rotations will be spent in one of our overseas locations in the U.S., Poland or the Philippines helping you to better understand interrelations between our different locations and to build a network within our global organization. We provide assistance with finding accommodations and making travel arrangements. Costs for your stays abroad are covered by the program.

You'll need to be fluent in English with a Master’s degree and a confirmed interest in pursuing a career in Finance. We're also looking for you to have:
  • Some prior relevant professional experience from internships or similar
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Evidence of experience running multiple complex tasks concurrently
  • Self motivation and resilience
