Dragana Stanley, PhD, Professor, Central Queensland University
Professor Dragana (Dana) Stanley is a molecular microbiologist at Central Queensland University, Australia, where she leads research in microbial genomics, microbiome science and host-microbe interactions. Ranked among the world's top 1% of scientists by citation impact, Dana applies genomics, transcriptomics and systems biology approaches to uncover mechanisms of health and disease. To date, Dana has developed multidisciplinary research programs investigating gut health, nutrition, probiotics, pathogen control and emerging diseases in livestock and humans. She finished her PhD in Molecular Microbiology at Victoria University, Melbourne, followed by postdoctoral research at CSIRO Animal Health Laboratories.
