Pre-analytical Sample Preparation for NGS

In this webinar, Salim Essakali will discuss using the QIAcube and QIAsymphony platforms for various sample purification steps in the NGS workflow. Salim will explain the plug-and-play and general technical features of the QIAcube that enable it to automate spin-column procedures simply by mimicking the manual protocol with no change to the gold-standard manual chemistry. He will demonstrate how QIAcube not only automates primary sample extraction — but can also be used for steps beyond — including rRNA depletion, library construction, and size selection.

Salim will also discuss how QIAsymphony and its sophisticated process safety features can help automate nucleic acid extraction for higher throughputs of primary samples for a variety of NGS workflows, including analysis of circulating cell-free nucleic acids.
