Performance
Each lot of Microbial DNA Positive Control is tested to verify that Microbial DNA qPCR Assays will yield a CT<34 when used with this template pool. The quality control data is noted on the product sheet supplied with the Microbial DNA Positive Control.
Principle
The pool of synthetic DNA templates that comprises the Microbial DNA Positive Control contains templates that are detected by each predesigned Microbial DNA qPCR Assay. Therefore, any Microbial DNA qPCR Assay should give a positive result when tested using the Microbial DNA Positive Control. This control ensures that the assay has performed properly, and that a sample containing one of the templates should also give a positive result.
