What type of magnet do you recommend for handling the magnetic beads in the Qproteome Plasma Membrane Protein protocol?
Since the Qproteome Plasma Membrane Protein procedure requires 1.5 ml/2.0 ml reaction tubes, we recommend using the follwing magnets for handling the magnetic beads:
- QIAGEN’s Single-Tube Magnet
- QIAGEN’s 12-Tube Magnet
Alternatively, comparable tube magnets or a standard clip-board magnet should also work.
