    Principle

    The RT2 Plate Format A is suitable for use with the following thermal cyclers:

    ABI 5700, 7000, 7300, 7500 Standard 96-well Block, 7700, 7900HT Standard 96-well Block
    Bio-Rad iCycler, iQ5, MyiQ, MyiQ2, Chromo4
    Stratagene Mx3000P, Mx3005P
    Eppendorf Mastercycler ep realplex 2, 2S, 4, 4S

    The RT2 Plate Format D is suitable for use with the following thermal cyclers:

    Bio-Rad CFX96, Opticon2
    Stratagene Mx4000

    It is important to ensure you have the correct plate for your thermal cycler.

    Procedure

    Calibration of the thermal cycler should be carried out according to the instructions usually found in the troubleshooting section of the cycler's user manual. For further help, contact QIAGEN Technical Services.

    Be sure to use the appropriate RT2 SYBR® Green qPCR Mastermix for the instrument calibration.
