The Standard RNA Isolation Service offers RNA isolation from cells or tissue. RNA samples can then be analyzed using additional services, including RT² Profiler PCR arrays, quantitative RT-PCR assays, microarrays, miRNA PCR arrays and assays, and RT² PreAMP cDNA Synthesis Kit-enabled PCR array and assay services. Samples can also be shipped to the customer or customer’s choice of destination.

Principle

The Standard RNA Isolation Service offers RNA isolation services from cells or tissue. RNA samples can then be analyzed using additional services, including PCR arrays, quantitative RT-PCR assays, microarrays, miRNA PCR array and assays, and RT² PreAMP cDNA Synthesis Kit-enabled PCR array and assay services.

Procedure
RNA is extracted from samples using an appropriate RNeasy Kit. RNA is quantified and purity is estimated using a spectrophotometer. Information regarding the RNA concentration and quality (obtained using an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer or QIAxcel) can be provided upon request. RNA isolates can be returned to the customer or used in a Service Core application.
