Whole genome amplification (WGA) uniformly increases the amount of DNA in the entire genome, enabling detailed study of samples that would otherwise be too small to analyze fully. This webinar will focus on strategies for performing successful WGA. Different methodologies for WGA will be presented, including Multiple Displacement Amplification (MDA) and PCR-based amplification. The importance of sample quality and sample storage on downstream analyses, along with performance data for QIAGEN’s REPLI-g technology, which provides highly uniform DNA amplification across the entire genome with negligible sequence bias, will also be discussed.
