Ensuring highest quality of sample material between various steps in the NGS workflow is an absolute prerequisite for successful NGS runs and reliable results. This is addressed by the QIAxpert system, an innovative high-speed microfluidic UV/VIS spectrophotometer used for the quantification of nucleic acids and contaminating fractions during NGS sample purification and library preparation. In addition, the QIAxcel Advanced automated capillary electrophoresis system is used for determining size distribution to improve the reliability and accuracy of NGS library preparation.

Once NGS data has been successfully generated, results must be verified and their biological relevance demonstrated. The PyroMark platforms analyze short- to medium-length sequences quantitatively with high accuracy and at low cost, and are therefore highly suited for the verification and validation of NGS and other genomewide screening results.
