Performance
To ensure highest sensitivity, ipsogen NPM1 mut A, B&D MutaQuant Kits have been optimized to detect the type A, B, and D mutations in NPM1 gene transcripts over a wide dynamic range (see figure "Sensitive detection of ABL and NPM1 mut A, B, and D standards").
Principle
ipsogen NPM1 mut A, B&D MutaQuant Kits are ready-to-use kits for the detection and quantification of type A, B, and D mutations in human RNA already identified as carrying the respective mutation in the NPM1 gene (see figure "NPM1 alleles"). Results are quantified relative to expression of the ABL control gene (see figure "ABL control gene transcript"). The kits provide high levels of sensitivity and reproducibility. Each ipsogen NPM1 mut A, B&D MutaQuant Kit provides 3 standard dilutions for the ABL gene and 5 standard dilutions for each of the NPM1 gene mutations.
Procedure
The first step is reverse transcription of total RNA in a sample into cDNA. The second step is the amplification of DNA by real-time PCR. Using ipsogen NPM1 mut A, B&D MutaQuant Kits provides reliable detection and quantification of type A, B, and D mutations in NPM1 gene transcripts. Simply start the reaction using the optimized protocols described in the kit handbook.
Applications
ipsogen NPM1 mut A, B&D MutaQuant Kits enable sensitive and reliable detection and quantification of type A, B, and D mutations in NPM1 gene transcripts for research use only.
