Nanoplates-based digital PCR system vs. qPCR
Integrate dPCR into your workflow
Digital PCR for manufacturers is about accelerating your commercial assay innovation. When you need speed, sensitivity, specificity and ease of use, integrate QIAcuity to your workflow and bring advanced dPCR technologies to your lab and your customers.
Digital PCR vs. qPCR
When addressing a “needle in a haystack” challenge, such as identifying a weak genetic signal in a strong background, partitioning the sample into many individual reactions provides increased throughput, enhanced sensitivity and the capability of absolute quantification.
Nanoplate-based digital PCR system for diverse applications
Nanoplate-based digital PCR technology uses the procedure of end-point PCR but splits into many individual reactions. After PCR, the amplification target is detected by measuring the fluorescence – of either sequence-specific DNA probes or intercalating dyes. Imagine the benefits of automation and dPCR available to your customers in combination with the familiarity of your innovative PCR assay. QIAcuity, QIAGEN's fully integrated nanoplate-based digital PCR system, has been designed to offer these benefits:
- Fixed partitions
- Sealed nanoplates
- Faster readout
- Easy-to-use, plates
- Front-end automation
-
Quality at scale- Throughput from 96 to 1,248 samples per day
- Three instrument configurations
- Up to two integrated thermocyclers
-
Multiplexing and quick results- From sample to result in under two hours
- Up to five detection channels
-
Sensitivity- Partition number and input volume per well depends on plate configuration
