Detecting microbial metagenomes
Metagenomics technologies enable study of the collective microbial genetic material in sample types such as stool, nasal, oral, urogenital, and bronchoalveolar lavage samples. Metagenomic data can be used to examine healthy microbiomes and shed light on causes, effects, and future therapies for a variety of diseases.
