Prof. Tae-Jung Kim is chief of the pathology department at Yeouido St. Mary's hospital, The Catholic University of Korea. He worked as a research scholar at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, as well as the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He has been interested in the platform of targetable cancer biomarkers and companion diagnostics since the early days of targeted therapy. Prof. Kim’s department now receives samples from more than 90 hospitals nationwide and has always been the first to establish novel targetable biomarkers in South Korea.
