Refresh your memory of QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus) sample collection techniques. In this course created for blood collection staff and other laboratory staff,  Nduku Ndunda, Medical & Scientific Affairs QuantiFERON, provides a brief refresher of QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus) blood collection. Join us as Ms. Ndunda covers the critical steps for proper sample collection prior to processing in the laboratory:  blood draw, tube shaking, transport conditions and incubation and storage temperatures.

Nuduku Ndunda

Nduku Ndunda has been working on the QuantiFERON-TB Gold and QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus portfolio over the past five years. Nduku began with Cellestis as part of the R&D team working on QuantiFERON platform improvements, and she has also been the technical specialist for the Asia Pacific region. In 2013, she moved from Australia to Singapore to lead QIAGEN’s Asia Pacific Medical and Scientific Affairs team as a scientific officer. She has worked with key partners, such as the TB Union, Stop.TB Partnership and WHO, on various collaborative projects. Prior to her employment by Cellestis and QIAGEN, Nduku worked as a senior microbiologist in the quality team for CSL Bioplasma in Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Masters of Applied Science, Microbiology and Biotechnology from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.
