Introduction to microRNA

Dec 6, 2016 1:00 PM–2:00 PM (EST)
Duration: 1hrs

miRNA plays a critical role in many biological processes such as differentiation and development, cell signaling, response to infection, and more. Recent studies have shown overwhelming evidence that aberrations in miRNA regulation are causal or indicators of many disease processes. Currently, there is a race to find and develop miRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutics. To win the race, it is important to have a strong understanding of miRNA and the challenges of miRNA research.

The webinar will cover the biology of microRNA, the key challenges associated with microRNA research, and the latest advances in microRNA research technology.
