What is the SBTengine® software?

SBTengine software is a sophisticated software package dedicated to accurate analysis of both HLA Class I (A, B and C) and HLA Class II (DP, DQ and DR) loci using the sequencing-based typing (SBT) strategy. SBTengine software indicates when additional sequencing is required and what group-specific sequencing primers (GSSPs) to use to resolve ambiguities. SBTengine can also analyse KIR, MIC, Minors, DLA and non-human primate sequences.
