Can REPLI-g WGA be used to amplify cDNA if the cDNA is dsDNA (double-stranded DNA)?

The REPLI-g WGA kit is not validated to amplify cDNA, since fragments may be too short to be evenly amplified. The REPLI-g Single Cell WTA kit relies on cDNA ligation, and can be used to reverse transcribe and amplify cDNA directly from cells.
